THE VISION:

When Steve Wynn was designing his iconic hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip, he enlisted the help of his wife Elaine in selecting in-room amenities. Unimpressed with what the market offered, Mrs. Wynn set out to create a custom collection. Already a fan of LATHER’s natural, aromatherapy-based retail products, she tapped us to develop a bath and body range worthy of the property and clientele it would serve.

THE STRATEGY:

  • Translate the Wynns’ vision through the use of superior design and an unmatched quality of materials
  • Create a unique, signature scent and an exclusive, trademarked color — Wynn Pearl
  • Develop a product that would resonate with discerning guests from every corner of the globe

THE RESULTS:

  • Launched with the opening of Wynn Las Vegas in 2005, the Desert Bambu collection was later expanded to Wynn properties around the world
  • Part of the Wynn brand for more than 11 years, the collection was a key touchpoint to every guest’s experience
  • The winning formulation was a favorite of guests and celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey
  • The collection is still one of the most recognizable amenity collections in the world and is credited with raising the bar for in-room offerings
